Dark skin has always been frowned upon in India, with the typical Indian man demanding for a fair woman to marry as dark skin is referred to as “kharaab (bad)”, the Indian fairness industry is worth $450m.

Who pays on a date ?
Most people presume that the guy should pay on a date, questioning that, I have made this illustration where the couple is just reaching out for the cheque, not stating who is paying for it. It just raises a question in the viewer’s mind.
